Your favourite drive through order reimagined as a cheesy, chip-topped pie. Loaded up with cheesy and a rich gravy sauce, it's the ultimate winter comfort food.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 750g beef mince
- 1 large brown onion, thinly sliced
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 tbsp brown onion gravy powder
- 60ml (1/4 cup) tomato sauce
- 60ml (1/4 cup) Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp American mustard
- 4 Cheer Classic Aussie Jack Burger cheese slices
- 80g (1 cup) coarsely grated cheddar
- 1/2 x 900g packet frozen crinkle cut chips
- 2 tsp sesame seeds, lightly toasted
- Burger pickles, drained, to serve

Step 1
Preheat oven to 220C/200C fan forced. Heat the oil in a large, deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the beef, onion and garlic. Cook, using a wooden spoon to break up any lumps, for 10 minutes or until browned.

Combine the gravy powder and 250ml (1 cup) water in a bowl. Add tomato sauce, Worcestershire and mustard to the pan. Stir until combined. Pour in the gravy mixture and bring to the boil. Cook for 1 minute or until the mixture thickens. Transfer mixture to a 1.5L (6 cup) baking dish. Top with the cheese slices then scatter over the cheddar.

Arrange chips on top. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Roast for 35 minutes or until chips are golden and cooked through. Top with pickles.
