This American-style dip is great served over a Caesar-style salad, with fresh prawns or even homemade soda bread.
Ingredients
- 3 streaky bacon rashers
- 125g (1/2 cup) whole egg mayonnaise
- 125g (1/2 cup) sour cream
- 2 tbsp buttermilk
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh dill leaves
- 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh continental parsley leaves
Description
Step 1
Place a non-stick frying pan over medium‑high heat. Cook the bacon, turning occasionally, for 7-8 minutes or until golden and crisp. Transfer to a board and finely chop.

Place the mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, garlic, lemon juice, dill and parsley in large bowl. Season and stir to combine. Stir in bacon.
